The 5th Annual Steamboat OktoberWest, Sep
20-23. Celebrate the season at a Steamboat-style
Oktoberfest including Rocky Mountain beer, local
food specialties and festivities unique to Steam-
boat Springs. We¡¯re taking an Oktoberfest and
stamping it with Steamboat¡¯s western brand. No
German beer here, just
good ol¡¯ Colorado Rocky

The weekend kicks off on
Friday with Suds & Grub,
a cruiser bike parade
through historic downtown with stops at restau-
rants for beer tastings and food specials.
Saturday¡¯s event, OktoberWest at the Steamboat
Mountain Village is free to attend, featuring great
live music, the I Love Beef Cook Off and plenty of
regional beers to taste in the beer garden.
Sunday, finish the weekend off at ¡®Yampa Street
Live¡¯ a town party with western music, line danc-
ing and great beer. Spend the afternoon tasting
Colorado Beer, sampling Colorado Beef and
relaxing with your feet in the creek at the Steam-
boat Mountain Village.
Purchase your gondola ticket good for the whole
weekend of riding, and the kids will have a
blast at the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone at a 50%
discount. Try out the new Water Wakerz, Ropes
Course and the all-time favorite, Slingshot Bun-
gee Jump!
The OktoberWest Festival takes place in Gondola
Square and along Burgess Creek from 2-6p. Buy
tickets online for the I Love Beef Cook Off and
Beer Garden. The Beer Garden will feature over
20 Colorado Brewers, each sampling 2 kinds of
brew. Each attendee receives a commemorative
mug with the purchase of the Beer Garden ticket.
Sample Colorado Beef from Steamboat¡¯s finest
restaurants; as they compete for the winner of the
I Love Beef Cook Off. Attendees will taste dishes
- $35 online in advance, $40 at the
